2023 AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Schedule Announced
Growth of off-road is coming to AMSOIL Championship Off-Road in 2023.
Albertville, Minn. - Years of success and stability have positioned AMSOIL Championship Off-Road for a run of expansion next season. Along with traditional stops in Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota, the premier off-road, short-course series will be heading to Oklahoma for a season-end showdown.
The first six rounds of the 2023 season will look very familiar to off-road enthusiasts. The series has held its season opener in Antigo, Wis. for the past two years and will look forward to another sold-out venue on June 10-11.
The first of two trips to Crandon International Raceway in Crandon, Wis. will take place June 24-25. Racers will follow-up their spring trip to the Big House by visiting the racer-friendly confines of ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minn. the weekend of July 14-15.
The second half of summer, the world’s top off-road racers dig deep at the Dirt City Motorplex in Lena, Wis. on July 29-30. The lone August stop heads to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and one of the sports iconic tracks, Bark River International Raceway the weekend of August 12-13.</p>
Historically, the season finale has been held on the hallowed grounds of Crandon. Labor Day Weekend will once again showcase short-course racing, including the final rounds of Sportsman racing, with two days of Champ Off-Road action on September 2-3.
Luckily for race fans, the series has added more racing to its annual schedule. To wrap up the 2023 campaign, the series will head to Jay, Okla. September 23-24 for an action- filled weekend at the 1,600-acre MidAmerica Outdoors. The weekend will merge the six Pro level classes with MAO’s full slate of racing, with the venue working in tandem with the series to bring an additional $50,000 purse to the event. The weekend will conclude with the Champ Off-Road Pro Banquet.
“Off-road racing has an extremely passionate base, led by both its competitors and its fans,” continued Schubitzke. “We have been looking for ways to expand, while keeping our core events intact. The MidAmerica Outdoors group brings the same passion and dedication that we have grown accustomed to here in the Midwest. We know that the first six rounds of racing will be spectacular and will lead to an amazing finish in Oklahoma.”
The 2023 AMSOIL Championship Off-Road series will continue to be live streamed through its partnership with FloRacing. Please stay tuned for 2023 viewership information.
