Cisney and a lot of his family grew up on the backstretch of Port Royal Speedway where many summer nights were spent in the top floor of the family house watching sprint cars out the window.

His childhood dream was to win at Port Royal Speedway in a 410 winged sprint car, and in 2008 he became the youngest driver to accomplish that feat. Cisney has also finished second in track championship points a few times and he finished fourth this season.
On Saturday night Cisney was involved in a scary crash in turn 3 of the Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway. Freddie Rahmer broke a rear axle in front of him, and with nowhere to go Cisney made contact with Rahmer and the 5 car was set ablaze. Logan Wagner and Danny Dietrich along with a fast arriving Port Royal Fire crew helped put the fire out and Cisney walked away with minor injuries.
