He's back. Kevin Thomas Jr is set to make his return to USAC National Sprint Car Series competition, announcing today on his Twitter that he will be back to defend his 2021 Indiana Sprint Week Title.

The Cullman, Alabama driver started the 2022 sprint car season competing full-time with the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions driving for Snow Racing before the two parties mutually parted ways on June 2.

The defending Indiana Sprint Week Champ is teaming up with 21-year-old Carson Garrett out of Linton, Colorado, who is in his second year of Sprint Car racing. The two will tackle the grueling eight races in nine days stretch driving for Broc Garrett and Doug Dougherty of BGE/Dougherty Motorsports.

Thomas finished second in USAC National Sprint Car Series points in 2021 and owns 36 feature wins with the series. Garrett finished second in Midwest Sprint Car Series (MSCS) points in 2021 and earned Rookie of the Year honors.
