More than $1.9 million in purse awards for the June 8-11 Eldora Million and Dirt Late Model Dream are detailed in the events’ official entry form, released Monday by Eldora Speedway officials.

The Eldora Million — returning to the famed half-mile oval in Rossburg, Ohio, for the first time since 2001 — highlights the blockbuster weekend with $1,461,035 in posted awards. Twin 25-lap preliminary features paying $12,000-to-win on June 8 lead into the following night’s headliner, a 101-lap A-main offering a first-place check of $1,002,022, $100,000 for second and $5,022 for last place (24th).

The 28th running of the Dream carries $446,915 in posted awards, including a pair of 25-lap, $12,000-to-win preliminaries on June 10 and the 100-lap, $128,000-to-win finale on Saturday.

All entry forms for the back-to-back events filed online at www.eldorspeedway.com by 11:59 p.m. EDT June 5 cost $360 and include one four-day driver pit pass. The price for late entries is $500 and doesn't include a driver pit pass. Teams are encouraged to enter as soon as possible because the order in which entries are time-stamped is the third determinator to break ties in Eldora’s Every Lap Matters points standings on Wednesday and Friday.

A bulletin also released Monday alongside the entry form announced the tire rule for the Million and Dream. Eldora and DIRTcar Racing officials consulted with their partners at Hoosier Tire and Hoosier Tire Midwest to adopt a mandate that will “best accommodate Hoosier’s available supply and ensure all competitors have fair and equitable access to current inventory.”

Teams will be required to use the same four tires from time trials through the 25-lap preliminary features on Wednesday and Friday. For the Thursday and Saturday programs, teams must use the same four tires for the qualifying races but the starting fields for the championship features may choose to begin the race on up to three new tires.

The rules bulletin noted that “damaged or punctured tires may only be replaced with approval of the designated official” and replacement tire penalties will be addressed at the drivers’ meeting.

Tire compounds allowed on the preliminary nights and for all qualifying events Thursday and Saturday are LM-30s on all three corners except the left front, where any DIRTcar tire can be bolted on. For the Million and Dream championship features, teams will have the option to use an LM-30 or the harder LM-40 on the right-rear only.
