Jade Avedisian To Make USAC Midget Debut In Arizona
15-year-old Jade Avedisian will make her USAC Midget Debut during the Western World Championships at Arizona Speedway.
Clovis, California -- Jade Avedisian will make her USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship debut when the series heads west during the month of November for the final nine events of the year in Arizona and California.
Avedisian (Clovis, Calif.) will pilot the No. 84 for CB Industries as a teammate alongside series point leader Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) and Ryan Timms (Oklahoma City, Okla.) to finish out the season.
The 15-year-old Avedisian has been a standout in micro sprint competition, capturing 12 victories thus far throughout the 2021 season. Just last weekend, during Turkey Bowl XXII in Stockton, Calif., Avedisian led wire-to-wire en route to the feature victory.
In her first 10 career POWRi Midget starts this season, Avedisian has notched three top-tens and a top-five result, finishing a best of 5th in May at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo.
Avedisian’s USAC tour of the west begins with a flurry on Nov. 12-13 during the 54th annual Western World Championships presented by San Tan Ford at Arizona Speedway.
From there, it’s onto her home state of California for the final seven, starting at Bakersfield Speedway’s November Classic on Nov. 16, then three-in-a-row at Placerville Speedway for the Elk Grove Ford Hangtown 100 on Nov. 18-19-20, twice at Merced Speedway on Nov. 23-24, then the finale at Ventura Raceway on Nov. 27 for the 80th running of the ARP Turkey Night Grand Prix.
