411 Motor Speedway Set For Biggest Event In Track History
Hosting $20,000-To-Win Castrol® FloRacing Night in America Event
Seymour, TN — History will be made on Tuesday, October 12 at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.), when the track hosts a $20,000-to-win Castrol® FloRacing Night in America event. The program marks the biggest in the track’s history.
“We are excited to be finally rolling into 411 Motor Speedway this Tuesday. Mitch McCarter and his staff at 411 Motor Speedway have been especially accommodating with our series through multiple challenges. This event was scheduled to be the series opener back in March, but weather got us then, and then we had to move the date we rescheduled for in September due to a scheduling conflict,” noted series general manager Ben Shelton. “So, now here we are getting ready for October 12 and the biggest event in the history of 411 Motor Speedway. We are very honored to be a part of the show and can’t wait to see who takes home the $20,000 top prize.”
Jonathan Davenport resides atop the latest Castrol® FloRacing Night in America standings. Kyle Larson has moved up to second with Bobby Pierce, Mike Marlar, Tanner English, Tyler Erb, Brandon Sheppard, Devin Moran, Boom Briggs, and Ryan King rounding out the current Top 10 in the standings.
With a driver’s best seven finishes counting toward the $20,000 championship, five races have been completed with only three events remaining. Those events include this Tuesday at 411 Motor Speedway, October 20 at Volunteer Speedway, and October 28 at Tri-County Racetrack. Over $62,000 in point’s money is posted for the Top 10 in the final series standings.
Super Late Model competitors please note the tire rule for the event. Hoosier 1350, Hoosier 1600, American Racer SD-48, and American Racer MD-56 tires are allowed on all four corners. Racers must run the same four tires for qualifying, heat races, and b-main action. For the 50-lap feature only, a driver may change one tire of their choice.
Along with the Super Late Model program this Tuesday, October 12 at 411 Motor Speedway, 604 engine Crate Late Models will chase a $1,500-to-win purse and 602 engine Crate Late Models will battle for $1,000-to-win.
Pit gates open at 1 p.m. EST and the grandstands at 3:30. The drivers' meeting is 6:00 pm EST with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing action to follow.
General admission is $30 (ages 13-and-up) and $5 (ages 12-and-under). Pit passes and tier parking is $40 (ages 13-and-up) and $5 (ages 12-and-under).
