Bacon Snags Winter Dirt Games Passing Master Award
In addition to a pair of wins this past weekend, Brady Bacon also collected the Passing Master title for the Sprint Car weekend at Winter Dirt Games.
Brady Bacon spent this past weekend racking up victories and prize money at Bubba Raceway Park.
In addition to picking up USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship victories on both Friday and Saturday, the Broken Arrow, Okla. driver also collected the Hughes Racing/Indiana Mafia/Flamingo Sandy Passing Master title for the Sprint Car weekend at Winter Dirt Games and an $800 bonus.
The 2014 and 2016 series champ advanced a total of 18 positions throughout the weekend’s heat race and feature action, gaining two spots in his heat race on Friday and eight apiece in the feature both nights after charging from 9th to 1st.
Anton Hernandez (Arlington, Texas) and Mario Clouser (Auburn, Ill.) each passed a total of 10 cars throughout the weekend while Kevin Thomas Jr. (Cullman, Ala.) and Dave Darland (Lincoln, Ind.) each advanced nine spots.
