Late Models A-Main

Will be led to the green by Doug Horton with Kyle Vansickle on the outside,Steve Mathis Jr. and Kyle Bronson make up row two, with last year's winner Mark Whitener rounding out the top 5.

Jimmy Waldrop spins (three times) to bring out a caution as this one is slow to get started.

Jimmy Horton gets a good jump on the restart and pulls away until he hits traffic. Mark Whitener and Kyle Bronson catch him when the groove gets narrower and make a great three-race battle.

On a mid-race restart, Whitener takes the lead for a lap, but Horton gets back around. Then a lap later, Bronson cycles into the lead. Bronson is riding high, wide, and handsome.

With the lead, Bronson stretches his advantage to almost a straightaway. It doesn't last for long as Megan Myers spins.

On the restart, Whitener almost gets into Horton and bind both cars. Jack Nosbisch Jr. takes second.

Nosbisch battles for the lead, but once they hit traffic again, Bronson finds a better way around.

Horton was battling hard with Devin Dixon and Whitener for a top-five when the tire of the 11 goes flat. Whitener ran over his left rear.

On this restart, Steve Mathis Jr. takes the lead. But with 5 to go, Nosbisch and Mathis are side by side.

With two to go, Nosbisch pushes high in turn two and lets Mathis get away.

Support Features

4-Cylinder Bombers will be the last 15-lap feature of the East Bay season.

On the last lap of the Outlaw Four A-Main, Brandon Yates spins Jake Hampton as they battle for the lead. Yates has to slow and try to go high, which allows Eric Knight to dive to the bottom and take the win. Oh My. Yates finishes second.

In the Mini-Sprints, Jamie Tinkham takes the win - his 10th of the season. He also is the 2017 track champion.

Heats

4 Cylinder had a great race at the end of heat 1: Robert Kissam passes Danny Bowman on the high side of turn four. with one to go. In heat 2, Bailey Purcell makes it look a little easier over Thomas Adams.

Get ready: Topless Late Models are on the track tonight.

Ivedent Lloyd is in the No. 33 this week. Last year, he raced the 54 tribute to Dalton Myers.

Heat 3: Kyle Vansickle won this handily, but Jeff Matthews had to come from deep in the field (6th) to finish 2nd.

Heat 2: Steve Mathis Jr. beats them to the checkers. With last year's winner Mark Whitener finishing second. In the final corner of the last lap, Josh Peacock loops it and gives 3rd over to Georgia native Cole Exum who has limited laps on the track.

Heat 1:  Kyle Bronson jumps out to the lead of his heat. Remember, he wasn't able to race in this event last year.
Bronson holds on for the win. He doesn't particularly like topless racing, but is making the most of it. Doug Horton finishes second over Philip Cobb, Jack Nosbisch Jr., and Ivedent Lloyd.

The Outlaw Fours will run two heats
Heat 1: Brandon Yates takes the checkers with Eric Knight and Michael Ridgeby following him across the line.

Mini-Sprints - there 10 cars here tonight: Robby Hoffman wins heat one. In heat 2, David Hall came from the back of the 5-car pack to win. Hall and Hoffman are teammates, so that was a perfect sweep.
