Knoxville Raceway's Sprint Car Capital of the World hosts this weekend’s 20th annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, starting with Thursday's 25-lap, $7,000-to-win preliminary feature.

Jonathan Davenport led all 25 laps from the front row for the victory at the famed Iowa black-dirt oval, beating Bobby Pierce by 1.470 seconds to the finish.

Pole-starting Chad Simpson finished 15th. Piece finished runner-up from the eighth-starting spot. Hudson O'Neal rounded out the podium. Nineteen drivers finished on the lead lap in the feature that lasted 12 minutes.
