The 43rd edition of Overwatch Precision Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Gill Construction, of course, is primarily a convergence of the best drivers and tracks the Buckeye State has to offer.

But Pennsylvania, specifically the PA Posse, has had strong representation when taking on the miniseries across the Ohio border over the years, or in football parlance, when taking on their neighboring Big Ten rival.

A host of drivers and teams from Central Pennsylvania are tagging along the minitour sanctioned under the NAPA All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline banner this week, namely Danny Dietrich, Brock Zearfoss, Ryan Smith, Dylan Norris, Steven Snyder Jr. and Hunter Mackison.

The 37-year-old Dietrich of Gettysburg, Pa., whose 156 wins in Central PA are 17th-most all-time, has five career wins among four tracks in the Buckeye State, all of them coming during Ohio Speedweek. Dietrich's most recent victory came last June at Sharon Speedway.

He has also has Ohio Speedweek wins at Fremont Speedway in 2023, Limaland Speedway in 2022, Attica Raceway Park in 2022 and Sharon in 2021.

The 37-year-old Smith of Fleetwood, Pa., like Dietrich, plans on racing every Ohio Speedweek event. He'll be aboard the BJD Motorsports No. 6 entry this week. Smith has six career wins in Ohio, with two of them coming at the soon-to-be-revived Mansfield Speedway (both Oct. 2017) and Sharon Speedway (June 2024 and June 2021), and additional wins at Attica (April 2015) and Fremont (Sept. 2015).

While the 34-year-old Zearfoss of Jonestown, Pa., hasn't pledged a commitment to the full Ohio Speedweek schedule, he'll at least be in action for June 15-18 events at Millstream Speedway, Wayne County Speedway, Eldora Speedway and Fremont Speedway. The 2017 Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway champ and former World of Outlaws campaigner has one Ohio victory at Attica Raceway Park in August 2019.

The 21-year-old Norris of Hanover, Pa., and four-time 410 winner has every Ohio Speedweek race on the schedule with the No. 17 Shawn Norris Motorsports team. Norris registered one top-10 finish during a full Ohio Speedweek run last year at Atomic Speedway.

The 29-year-old Mackison of York is another Central PA driver along with Rising Sun, Md.'s Snyder Jr., who races for PA-based Heffner Racing Enterprises and crew chief Curt Michael. Only seven starts into his 410 career, the 20-year-old Snyder picked up his first career victory in the discipline June 1 during Western PA Sprint Speedweek action at Tri-City Raceway Park.

2023 Port Royal champion Devon Borden, now following the All Star tour, is another familiar face at Ohio Speedweek for PA Posse fans.

Although they hail from Western PA, Tim Shaffer of Aliquippa, Brandon Spithaler of Butler and Leyton Wagner of Enon Valley are among Keystone State drivers at Ohio Speedweek.
