Results from Saturday's Kubota High Limit Racing season opener at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

After a groundbreaking year in which Kubota High Limit Racing successfully completed its first full-fledged Sprint Car season, the second-year tour embarked on another national campaign Saturday at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
In his first Sprint Car race in five months, Corey Day led the final seven of 30 laps en route to the $25,000 victory at the Sin City half-mile in what turned out to be a race of the attrition. Race-long leader Daryn Pittman, who led the first 23 laps, started running out of fuel with seven laps remaining
Race-long leader Daryn Pittman, who led the first 23 laps, started running out of fuel with seven laps remaining, which triggered a caution on lap 24 and set up a one-two finish between Day and runner-up Kyle Larson. Reigning High Limit champion finished third from the 11th-starting spot.
NASCAR Cup driver Ty Gibbs qualified for the A-main in his Sprint Car debut, but flipped on the opening lap of the feature and couldn't continue. Justin Peck was the hard-charger, finishing seventh from the 22nd-starting spot.
Justin Sanders started the Ridge & Sons No. 87 in place of Aaron Reutzel, who was supposed to start eighth in the main event but needed medical attention after a rock reportedly went through his visor in the Dash.
