Multi-time national sprint car championship crew chief Eric Prutzman and Kasey Kahne Racing have mutually parted ways, according to a report by SprintCarUnlimited.com. The news comes days prior to the Kubota High Limit Racing season opener at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 13 and 15.
Prutzman is the defending championship crew chief with High Limit Racing, as he and driver Brad Sweet won 10 races on their way to a sixth straight national sprint car title. Before the 2024 season, the combination won 74 races with the World of Outlaws, winning five series titles, all for Kasey Kahne Racing. Prutzman began with KKR in 2017.
Kasey Kahne went into 2025 with Eric Prutzman slated as his crew chief to begin the year, with the hopes of the combination delivering Kahne his first national sprint car victory. Kahne will continue on the swing out west with Andrew Bowman who has championship experience, and Tate Williamson.
Eric Prutzman told SprintCarUnlimited he's going to take a few weeks off and decide his plans going forward.
