Christopher Bell isn't the only Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR Cup Series driver making a special appearance in Kubota High Limit Racing's season opener this week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Chad Boat-owned CB Industries announced Monday that Ty Gibbs will be making his Sprint Car debut this Thursday at the Las Vegas, Nev., half-mile dirt oval in the No. 84 Monster Energy Drink machine, which will be streamed live on FloRacing with coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Bell wil also be action aboard Don Kreitz's No. 69k.

CB Industries, which will field the black and electric-green No. 84 for the 22-year-old grandson of five-time NASCAR Cup owner and Super Bowl champion coach Joe Gibbs, also announced that Gibbs will also race more High Limit events this season.

Gibbs tested a winged 410 Sprint Car earlier this month at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C., with Sprint Car veteran Lynton Jeffrey giving him guidance. Jeffrey posted to X on March 5 that Gibbs was "very impressive" in his test session.

"He really took to the car like a professional and was very smooth," Jeffrey posted on X, "he wasn't lacking for speed and gave great feedback as we made the car better with each run."

Over the winter, Joe Gibbs has giving his drivers his blessing to run extracurricular races outside of NASCAR again, and Christopher Bell has taken full advantage of that on the dirt in winning at the Tulsa Shootout while triumphing with the World of Outlaws on Feb. 7 at Volusia Speedway Park (in a photo finish over Kyle Larson no less).

Bell's dirt success has seemingly translated to the Cup Series where he has three straight wins on NASCAR's premier circuit.

Gibbs has dirt roots himself as his racing journey began in Outlaw Karts at Millbridge Speedway in Salisbury, N.C., before switching to pavement racing. Gibbs has dabbled more in the dirt since his grandfather has allowed his drivers to race outside of NASCAR as he's made his Midget debut at California's Ventura Raceway last fall in the annual Turkey Night Grand Prix.

He then made his debut at the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals earlier this year where he won a G-main and finished sixth in one of the two F-mains.
