Rain and more inclement weather has forced Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials to cancel Saturday’s Super Bowl of Racing program at Georgia's Golden Isles Speedway.
The $25,000-to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event won’t be made up as series action resumes Sunday with a $10,000-to-win event. Hot laps are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the 4/10-mile oval.
World of Outlaws campaigner Tyler Bruening led 15 laps, including the final nine, to break through for his first national touring feature win Friday at Golden Isles.
Runner-up Jonathan Davenport takes the way-too-early, de facto Lucas Oil points lead through the tour's opening night by 10 points over Friday's third-finishing Brandon Overton.
