The 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals are already well underway, with many familiar faces such as two-time Chili Bowl Champion Kyle Larson returning to Oklahoma.
However, on Friday, Jan. 17, the Tulsa Expo Raceway will witness the highly-anticipated Chili Bowl debut of NASCAR great Kyle Busch. This comes only weeks after Kyle Busch and his son, Brexton, competed together at the 2025 Tulsa Shootout.

Racing on Friday begins at 5 p.m. ET, with heat laps and qualifying beginning at 6 p.m. ET.
The Chili Bowl Nationals 2025 is one of auto racing's biggest events of the year and one of its first of the season as the SageNet Center in Tulsa becomes the Mecca for all things dirt racing from Jan. 12-18.
The week will include qualifying racing every day as drivers compete to get in the main event on Saturday, Jan. 18. The field is stacked with the best dirt drivers in the world, and some of the biggest stars of NASCAR like Larson and Bush.
The Chili Bowl began in 1987 and has since brought one of racing’s biggest events to Tulsa each year. The week of qualifying races will lead to the main event on Jan. 18. That Saturday evening will mark the first time that a 40-lap championship has taken place since 2012, when the Chili Bowl made the switch to 55 laps in honor of the late Donnie Ray Crawford.
