After 389 races between 1,798 entries totaling 3,686 laps, the “Mecca of Micros” will officially conclude Saturday at Tulsa, Oklahoma’s SageNet Center with six prestigious Golden Drillers finding a new home.

The front half of each A-Main lineup was established on Friday with the back half set to be filled out today on FloRacing with 40 B-Mains and five Last Chance Qualifiers preceding the six main events on tap later tonight.

The headlining Outlaw divisions didn’t fail to produce any storylines at the top of their lineups with Tulsa Expo Raceway icons from both the Tulsa Shootout and Chili Bowl Nationals alike leading the field to green.

In the Outlaw Non-Wing class - which now contests the coveted 55-lap main event - nine-time Golden Driller winner and defending champion, Blake Hahn, earned the pole position with NASCAR ace and four-time Golden Driller winner (three from the Chili Bowl), Christopher Bell, to his outside.

In Winged Outlaw - thought as the big one for the last decade-plus - a four-time Golden Driller winner and often heralded Micro Sprint GOAT, Frank Flud, took the pole with global Motorsports icon and three-time Golden Driller winner (two from the Chili Bowl), Kyle Larson, alongside him.

When it comes to feature starts, it’s no surprise that Emerson Axsom of Franklin, IN leads the way - qualifying for all four Stock/Outlaw A-Mains to become the first driver in history to achieve that feat on three occasions. At only 20-years-old, he’s established his dominance in the Tulsa Expo building this decade - winning four Golden Drillers in 17 starts  He’ll have four shots to chase a fifth title tomorrow with his best chance coming in A-Class, where he leads the field to green from pole position.

Kyle Larson and Braden Chiaramonte are next in line with three starts each, while the likes of Christopher Bell, Clinton Boyles, Steven Snyder Jr, Daison Pursley, Cash Lovenburg, Sam Johnson, Matt Carr, and Aiden Purdue are all in two mains for now with chances to add more through B-Mains and LCQ’s.

The Stock Non-Wing division appears most likely to produce a first-time Golden Driller winner with only polesitter Cannon McIntosh previously hoisting one - back in 2014 as a Jr. Sprint kid. McIntosh, familiar with Chili Bowl prelim success in this building, will be chased by Brent Crews, Quinton Benson, Jacob Lucas, Russ Dissinger, Sam Johnson, and Matt Carr, all who want their first Tulsa Shootout title.

In the Restricted class, five different states are represented in the front five positions with Kansas’ Camden Kroening, Oklahoma’s Braxton Weger, Nebraska’s Haidyn Hansen, California’s Aubri Huckleberry, and Texas’ Brice Shaid all hunting their first Golden Driller.

The always-exciting Jr. Sprint kids are running on no shortage of star power this year with children of NASCAR Cup Series superstars battling for the Golden Driller. Kyle Busch’s young son, Brexton Busch, has earned the pole position with Kyle Larson’s oldest boy, Owen Larson, not far behind him starting in fourth. Separating them is two more contenders for the win in Pennsylvania’s Jax Wittmer and Indiana’s Eli Holden.
