Justin Grant Announces Departure From RMS Racing
Justin Grant announced that he has parted ways with the RMS Racing Midget team following a four-year stint.
Justin Grant announced Wednesday afternoon that he is leaving RMS Racing after a four-year stint with the Cedar Lake, Indiana-based USAC National Midget team.
“After much consideration, I made the difficult decision to step away from RMS Racing and out of the No. 2 Midget,” Grant said in a statement posted on his social channels. “I will forever be grateful to Dave and Matt Estep, Lacey Doyle and Joe Kocjan for the opportunity they gave me to compete at the highest level and for all the support they gave me. These people became my friends."
A note from me to the fans, in regard to RMS and my midget plans.

Grant, a native of Ione, Calfornia, has announced that he will return to the USAC National Midget Series in 2025 to chase a title. He did not announce who he will be driving for in pursuit of his first championship.
“While I’m not ready to announce my plans for 2025, I was presented an opportunity that I felt would give me my best chance at a USAC Midget Championship and I took it. Because ultimately, that’s the goal and difficult decisions have to be made in pursuit of your goals."
In their four seasons together, Grant and RMS Racing captured 12 USAC National Midget victories including wins in crown jewel events such as the BC39, Turkey Night Grand Prix and Hangtown 100. Grant also won a pair of Chili Bowl Nationals preliminary nights while behind the wheel of the No. 2 Midget.
