Kubota High Limit Racing is heading down under for its first international Sprint Car race in series history, December 28-30 at the Perth Motorplex in Western Australia. A strong contingent of Americans will be making the trip to Australia with hopes of winning the biggest Sprint Car race ever held in the country.

The winner's share of $100,000 during the finale on December 30 is the highest award in the history of Australian Sprint Car racing. The race will not count towards points for the 2025 Kubota High Limit Racing season.

According to a social media post from High Limit Racing, 10 drivers are currently confirmed to make the trip, although it was announced this week that Carson Macedo will not be making the trip due to an injury.

Among the drives carrying the flag for the red, white and blue is Kyle Larson, who will make his first appearance at Perth Motorplex. Larson will race in Australia all three nights before making his return to the Chili Bowl Nationals in January.

High Limit Racing co-founder and 2024 series champion Brad Sweet, who is among a list of former winners at Perth, will also be making the trip. Cory Eliason and Rico Abreu, who both previously claimed checkered flags at the prestigious Western Australia facility, are also heading down under.

A pair of Californians, Cole Macedo and Giovanni Scelzi, will travel with the Americans to Australia along with South Dakota's Matt Juhl, New Jersey's Justin Whittal and Pennsylvania's Brock Zearfoss.

VIDEO: Kyle Larson discusses first trip to Perth Motorplex.

“All of us at High Limit are excited to take the first step in expanding our brand to an international level,” Larson said following the announcement of the event. “Australian sprint car fans are passionate and super supportive. They deserve a six-figure paying race as do the Australian drivers and teams. I’m looking forward to getting down there with Brad (Sweet) and some of our High Rollers to race with those guys.”

James McFadden, who ran a full season with High Limit Racing in 2024 before announcing his plans to step away from full-time racing in the U.S., has nine career wins at the Western Australian facility. He will be part of a strong Australian contingency that features Callum Williamson, Dayne Kingshott and Jason Kendrick, among others.
