Vermeer Motorsports is rekindling a past relationship for the 2025 winged sprint car season. The Pella, Iowa based announced Saturday that the team is welcoming back Hunter Schuerenberg for the upcoming season.

Schuerenberg drove for the team for three and half seasons from the end of 2019 to the midway point of 2023. They earned 11 wins together, six of them with the All Star Circuit of Champions. They also finished third in All Star point standings twice.

The team has not yet decided on its plans for 2025.

Vermeer parted ways with Chris  Friday after a season with the Kubota High Limit Racing Sprint Car Series. Windom finished 15th in points, with three top fives and 10 top 10's.

Windom has joined Sides Motorsports to drive the No. 7s with the World of Outlaws next season.
