The USAC National Midget Series has a smorgasbord of five races coming up in November during a time when race fans are hungry for racing action. And so far, some of dirt racing's biggest stars have signed up to compete in some, if not all, of the California races.

Of course, the fields every night will feature the top regulars the USAC National Midget Series has to offer including: Daison Pursley, Cannon McIntosh, Ryan Timms and Logan Seavey. But those regulars will be challenged by a stout contingent of outsiders looking to steal a few checks and trophies.

Let's look at some of the driver's joining the USAC National Midget Series out west for their California racing vacation.

The list of guests is highlighted by a pair of former NASCAR Cup Series champions named Kyle: Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch.

Larson will be competing in three upcoming USAC Midget events: Midget Madness at Merced Speedway on November 22-23, the November Classic at Bakersfield Speedway on November 26 and the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Raceway on November 30.

Busch will enter events at Bakersfield Speedway and Ventura Raceway as he prepares for his Chili Bowl Nationals debut in January.

Tanner Thorson will compete in all five races driving the Tom Malloy No. 25 car. The 2016 USAC National Midget champ and 2022 Chili Bowl winner competed with High Limit Racing this season where he finished 13th in points.

Corey Day will drive the Willie Kahne No. 4 for all five races in his home state of California. Day won a Chili Bowl Prelim in 2024 and finished third in the main event. This season, Day scored eight victories with High Limit Racing and finished fifth in the driver championship standings.

Carson Macedo, a 12-time winner with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars this season, will return to USAC Midget racing aboard the Dyson Motorsport No. 99AU for all five California races.

Indy 500 front-runner Santino Ferruci will drive for Abacus Racing at Merced Speedway both nights. Ferruci has six straight top 10's in the Indy 500, his most recent finishes up front driving for A.J Foyt Racing. Ferruci has made appearances at the Chili Bowl in most recent years.

2019 USAC National Midget Series champion Tyler Courtney will return to the series for the entire swing behind the wheel of the Silva Motorsports No. 23c. Courtney is coming off a season highlighted by six High Limit Racing wins and a runner-up finish in the championship standings.

Fresh off a career year with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, two-time USAC Midget champion Buddy Kofoid will be back in action behind the wheel of the Keith Kunz-Curb/Agajanian Motorsports No. 71 for all five races.

Kaylee Bryson, who became the first woman to win a USAC National Series feature race earlier this year by winning the USAC Silver Crown Hucovsky Classic at the Belleville High Banks, will be returning to the Abacus Racing No. 58 for the Turkey Night Grand Prix.

Former USAC Triple Crown champion J.J. Yeley will be returning to the Midget ranks aboard the Petty Performance Racing No. 3 for the Turkey Night Grand Prix.

Following the cancelation of the Hangtown 100 at Placerville Speedway due to weather, the west coast swing will now begin at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California on November 20.

Merced Speedway will host the series November 22-23 before a trip to Bakersfield Speedway on November 26. The prestigious Turkey Night Grand Prix will end the season at Ventura Raceway on November 30.
