Just one day after Rudeen Racing released Zeb Wise, the Kevin Rudeen-owned team announced Saturday afternoon its hired Justin Peck as its new driver aboard the familiar blue No. 26 Sprint Car for the rest of the 2024 season and beyond.

The 26-year-old Peck and the Rudeen team are also gearing up for a full Kubota High Limit Racing season in 2025, the team told Jeremy Elliott of sprintcarunlimited.com. Peck of Angola, Ind., joins the Tulare, Calif.-based team from the Pennsylvania-based Buch Motorsports as he replaces the 21-year-old Wise, who finished 11th in the inaugural High Limit national tour.

Peck nearly gave Buch Motorsports a charter for the 2026 High Limit season during his sixth-place touring finish this year as the two-time High Limit winner fell 25 points short of the Jason Meyers Racing No. 14 team and Corey Day.

Peck's first outings with the Rudeen team will be Nov. 1-2 at Texarkana (Ark.) 67 Speedway with the ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprint Car Series and Nov. 6-9's World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte. For Rudeen, it's their first driver change since partway through the 2022 season, when the California team hired Wise, who then went onto capture the last-ever All Star Circuit of Champions title in 2023.
