Racetracks across Georgia and Alabama are offering refuge from Hurricane Milton, the Category 5 hurricane that's expected to make landfall somewhere along Florida's gulf coast Wednesday evening.

Atlanta Motor Speedway and Alabama's Sunny South Raceway along with Southern Georgia dirt-tracks Golden Isles Speedway, Needmore Speedway and Senoia Raceway are providing free dry camping for those needing to flee from the storm's path.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is in Hampton, Ga. (roughly 30 miles south of Atlanta) while Golden Isles Speedway is in Waynesville, Ga., with Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Ga. and Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Ga. Sunny South Raceway is in Grand Bay, Ala., roughly three hours west of Panama City Beach, Fla.

Evacuees staying at Atlanta Motor Speedway have complimentary access to a nearby showerhouse. A limited number of camping spots with water, power, and sewer hookups will also be available for a nominal fee of $35 per night at AMS. More information on staying at AMS can be found here.

The address for Atlanta Motor Speedway is 1500 Tara Place, Hampton, Georgia 30228.

Golden Isles Speedway has "plenty of room to park" with "mostly dry camping" available. The track is at 101 Speedway Drive, Waynesville, Georgia 31566, which is located 12 miles off Interstate 95 and roughly an hour north of Jacksonville, Fla.

Portable water and sewage tanks to dispose waste are additional services Golden Isles Speedway are offering evacuees. The track also said "we got track food if needed" and that the speedway's concession appliances — grills, tables, etc. — are also available for evacuees.

"We can find someone to cook in the kitchen if needed," the track told FloRacing.

Needmore Speedway added "we do not have any hookups (for camping), so you will have to be self-contained, but you are more than welcome to set up here."

"If you or a loved one from Florida are looking for a place to evacuate to, y'all are more than welcome to camp in the parking lot here at the track," Needmore Speedway posted to Facebook on Monday. "There has been several calls asking this morning and we welcome all of you."

Needmore Speedway is at 1060 John Vickers Road, Norman Park, Georgia 31771, which is seven miles off Interstate 75 and approximately an hour-and-a-half northeast of Tallahassee, Fla.

As for Senoia Raceway, only dry camping is allowed at their facility as the track stated in a Facebook post "there will be no hook-ups" for campers. Senoia Raceway it at 171 Brown Road, Senoia, Georgia 30276, which is roughly 40 miles southwest of Atlanta.

Senoia Raceway also requested evacuees looking to stay at their facility to "reach out to us via phone or message to inform us of your plans to come." Senoia Raceway can be reached at (770) 559-6161.

Sunny South Raceway is at 11380 U.S. 90, Grand Bay, Alabama 36541, where "water and clean restroom amenities are accessible."
