Brad Sweet has added a sixth consecutive national Sprint Car title to his ever-growing resume as the Grass Valley, Calif., driver has clinched the 2024 Kubota High Limit Racing championship with four events remaining.

Currently 258 points ahead of Rico Abreu with only Oct. 8's event at Missouri's I-70 Speedway and Oct. 11-12's finale at Texas Motor Speedway remaining, the 38-year-old turned in another hallmark season en route to the High Limit title.

Sweet's seven High Limit feature wins in 47 starts are third-most on tour behind Abreu's and Day's eight feature wins. What's separated Sweet all season has been his sterling consistency, the same consistency that lifted him to five straight World of Outlaws championships from 2019-23, as he's finished inside the top-five on 32 occasions and inside the top-10 a whopping 41 times.

Tyler Courtney's 23 top-fives are second-most behind Sweet and Abreu's 33 top-10s are second-most on the tour.

Sweet's season is highlighted by his Heartland of America Showdown sweep at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Mo., and a $60,000 weekend May 3-4. Sweet also swept April 19-20's Oklahoma swing at Southern Oklahoma Speedway and Salina Highbanks.

Sweet also won May 10's series stop at Iowa's 34 Raceway in an epic photo finish over James McFadden that came down to 0.012 of a second. Sweet's season includes his first win in New York as well as he picked up May 16's victory at Outlaw Speedway.

Despite going another four months until his next and most recent victory Sept. 5 at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway on Tuscarora 50 prelim night, Sweet grew his championship lead from a mere 36 points on May 16 to more than 200 points by September.
