The Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series presented by Kubota heads to Brownstown Speedway for Wednesday’s $20,000-to-win event, which was originally scheduled for May 14 but now serves as the sixth round of the eight-round miniseries.

More than 30 drivers are signed into the FloRacing Series event as of 5 p.m. at the legendary quarter-mile, action that unofficially kicks off the Jackson 100 festivities that's capped by Saturday’s $50,000-to-win finale on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Wednesday's Brownstown roster features the return of Hall of Fame driver Don O’Neal, who takes the wheel of the McCarter brothers-owned No. 71 MasterSbilt house car for his first Dirt Late Model appearance in four years to the day, Sept. 25, 2020.

Ricky Thornton Jr. won last year’s FloRacing Series event at Brownstown while points leader Bobby Pierce topped last fall's Hoosier Dirt Classic and last year’s $6,000 Ira Bastin Memorial at Brownstown. Both are in Wednesday's field as Pierce leads Thornton by a mere three points with three races left on the minitour.
