Cory Eliason Looking For A New Ride For 2025 Sprint Car Season
Cory Eliason will be a free agent following the 2024 Kubota High Limit Racing season. Where will he end up?
Cory Eliason will be a free agent heading into the 2025 sprint car season, according to a report by Jeremy Elliott of SprintCarUnlimited.com. Currently 10th in the Kubota High Limit Racing championship standings, Eliason will not return to the Ridge & Sons Racing No. 8 next season due to funding.
In 42 starts with High Limit Racing this season, Eliason has recorded six top fives and 19 top 10s. In the second half of the season, Eliason has improved his average finishing position by nearly three positions on the race track when compared to the first half of the season.
The team began the season with Tyler Swank as crew chief before making the move to Jim Shuttlesworth part way through the season.
Eliason did earn a victory in non-High Limit competition at BAPS Motor Speedway on March 24, and his best High Limit finish of the season came at Kokomo Speedway when he finished fourth.
Kubota High Limit Racing is back in action this week at Eldora Speedway with two nights of racing combined with USAC for the traditional 4-Crown Nationals September 21-22. The series has seven races remaining on the 2024 schedule and Eliason will remain in the No. 8 RSR ride for all of those events.
