Muskogee, Oklahoma native Kaylee Bryson will pilot the Abacus Racing No. 58 as a teammate to Logan Seavey for the sixth running of the Driven2SaveLives BC39 Presented By Avanti Windows & Doors at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 26-28, 2024.

For Abacus, it will provide the team two drivers with a winning pedigree.  With Logan Seavey as its driver, Abacus has won two USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship features in 2024.  The team is coming off a season in which they captured the 2023 series championship along with the USAC Silver Crown National Championship as a co-entrant with Rice Motorsports.  Abacus Racing and Seavey currently lead the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship standings.

In May of this season, Bryson became the first woman to win a USAC national feature race when she reigned triumphant at the Belleville (Kan.) High Banks with the USAC Silver Crown series.  Bryson just recently won her second Trans-Am Super GT Class Series race and previously became the first woman to make the Saturday night A-feature in the Chili Bowl in Tulsa, Okla.

Bryson will drive car No. 58 with primary sponsorship coming from Indy Powersports along with LSI Logical Systems, The Auto Ranch, Ambre Blends, Tom Cherry Mufflers, Chernoff Cosmetic Surgeons, Audiology Associates, Indy Custom Stone, CG CPAs and Forecheck Marketing.

“As a driver, you always want to know that you have a chance to win,” Bryson stated.  “I have watched what Abacus has done these last few years, so I know we will have a great car for the BC39.  Having a teammate like Logan does not hurt, obviously.  They put both of their cars in the BC39 last year, and the goal is to do the same this year.”

Meanwhile, team principal Brent Cox has always wanted to have Bryson in one of his car, and now the stars have aligned and the schedules match in order to allow that to finally happen.

“Kaylee and I have known each other for a while, and there has been a mutual desire to have her drive for us someday,” Cox revealed.  “We came close a few other times, but various issues prevented that from happening.  I reached out to her a few weeks ago and asked her if she had a BC39 ride and she said she did not, so that put the process in motion.”

Abacus Racing is powered by Stanton Engines, with Spike Chassis and CSI Shocks.  Racing activities will begin on September 26 with the first of two preliminary nights leading up to the $20,039-to-win main feature on September 28.  Abacus plans to have Bryson run on Thursday night with Logan Seavey running on Friday night.  Abacus Racing is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
