It was the 54th annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway on Saturday, which went for 100 laps and paid $57,000-to-win.

Bobby Pierce overpowered mid-race leader Jonathan Davenpor and held off Dale McDowell by 0.387 seconds to claim his second career World 100 title in front of the largest crowd in Eldora Speedway history.

Pierce led a race-high 46 laps in a feature that saw eight lead changes. The pole-starting Dale McDowell led the opening four laps and came on late to challenge Pierce and lead laps 92-95. Garrett Alberson led 19 laps (laps five through 22 and lap 23)  Jonathan Davenport led 28 laps (laps 35-68).
