Brad Sweet returned to Kubota High Limit Racing victory lane for the first time in 112 days on Thursday night. Sweet snapped a 35-race winless drought by winning the opening night of the Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway.

The driver known as "The Big Cat" took the lead from Rico Abreu with a slider into turn one with eight laps to go and didn't look back from there en route to the long-awaited victory. 

Abreu, who led the most laps during the 25-lap feature, settled for second behind Sweet. Anthony Macri completed the podium in third to record the best finish among PA Posse drivers. 

Logan Wagner, the winner of Monday's Labor Day Classic at Port Royal, and "High Roller" Tyler Courtney completed the top five.

Night two of the Tuscarora 50 week will take place Friday night with the "Night Before The 50" at Port Royal Speedway. Race fans unable to make it out to the track will be able to watch the action live on FloRacing.
