For the 41st time, a king was crowned on Saturday night during the 41st Kings Royal for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Eldora Speedway. And for the first time, that king's name was King David. 

David Gravel held off a fierce charge from Donny Schatz late in the 40-lap race to earn his first career Kings Royal win. The win, combined with his $100,000-to-win Joker's Jackpot victory with High Limit Racing on Thursday, made it a $275,000 week for Gravel at The Big E.

Like he had all week long at Eldora, Schatz charged from his 20th starting position to earn runner-up honors for the third time in four nights. Justin Peck also charged forward from his 15th starting position to complete the podium. 

Last year's Eldora Million winner Logan Schuchart battled for the win early before fading to finish fourth, while Jacob Allen rounded out the top five.
