Kubota High Limit Racing kicked off a lucrative week of Sprint Car racing at Eldora Speedway on Wednesday evening with the Double Down Duels. A field of 64 drivers was split into two groups, with each group contesting a full program of racing that ended with a pair of $12,000-to-win races.

Feature racing kicked off with a bang when Logan Schuchart, Justin Peck and Brad Sweet began throwing haymakers for the lead in the first 25-lap feature. But by the end of the race, it was a hard-charging Donny Schatz moving up from his eighth starting spot to finish 0.242 seconds behind Schuchart in a thrilling finish that had the Eldora crowd on their feet. 

In the second race, Giovanni Scelzi did his best to limit the dramatics by starting from the pole and jumping out to as much as a five-second lead in a caution-free race. Kyle Larson did close the gap to 1.408 seconds at the checkered flag, but didn't have enough time to challenge Scelzi for the win.

High Limit Racing will conclude their stay at Eldora Speedway on Thursday night with the $100,000-to-win Joker's Jackpot. The race will be streamed live on FloRacing.
