2024 Knoxville Nationals Entry List: An Early Look At The Roster
A look at the list of drivers currently entered for the 2024 Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway.
Entries for the NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals have started to roll in, with 63 drivers already entered for the biggest Sprint Car race in the world and many more expected to throw their hats in the ring for the August 7-10 event.
Two-time and defending Knoxville Nationals champion Kyle Larson will be back for a shot at a third crown. The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion and 2024 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year led all 50 laps en route to the win last year.
Donny Schatz will have a shot at history when he arrives at Knoxville in a couple weeks. A win would give him his 12th, which would tie Steve Kinser for most Knoxville Nationals victories all-time. Former Knoxville Nationals winners David Gravel and Brad Sweet will be back in search of their second victories in the event.
Multi-time Knoxville Raceway track champion Brian Brown has finished second three times, and is still looking for that first win. He is joined by weekly points leader Austin McCarl and other local favorites Don Droud Jr., Carson McCarl, Jamie Ball, Chase Randall and Matt Juhl.
High Limit Racing Sprint Car Series points leader Sweet and Midweek Money Series points leader Tyler Courtney leads the contingent into Knoxville that includes 2023 IRA Sprint Car champion Brenham Crouch, Jacob Allen, Spencer Bayston, Cory Eliason, Kasey Kahne, Justin Peck, Corey Day, Rico Abreu and Zeb Wise.
Meanwhile, all the top World of Outlaws stars will be on hand for their sanctioned event. Gravel and Schatz lead the points standings, with the likes of Logan Schuchart, Brock Zearfoss and Sheldon Haudenschild also having entries sent in.
The Pennsylvania Posse will have representation at the Sprint Car Capital of the World once again, led by the likes of Anthony Macri and Danny Dietrich.
The NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals will kick off on Wednesday and Thursday, August 7-8 with qualifying nights. Drivers outside the top-26 in points will get another chance to race their way into Saturday night’s main event on Hard Knox Night on Friday, August 9.
The 2024 Knoxville Nationals champion will be crowned on Saturday night, August 10, with $190,000 going to the winner of the biggest Sprint Car race in the world.
