Chris Madden To Step Back From Full-Time Competition At Conclusion Of 2024
Chris Madden has announced he will be stepping back from full-time competition at the conclusion of the 2024 racing season.
GRAY COURT, SC -- Ahead of competing at Eldora Speedway this weekend in Dirt Late Model racing’s richest annual event, Chris Madden has announced he will be stepping back from full-time competition at the conclusion of the 2024 racing season.
Throughout his decorated career, Madden has accumulated over 250 feature wins and secured nine championship titles. The seasoned veteran's foray into the world of racing began when he was just eight years old, with go-kart racing being his first passion. Following a successful stint, he progressed to Dirt Late Model racing in 1995, at the age of 20.
Madden, now 49, will persist in chasing his coveted first World of Outlaws Late Model Series championship this season, before transitioning to a condensed racing schedule in 2025, comprising of roughly six-to-ten events, which will be announced at a later date.
