The biggest Sprint Car race of the year thus far didn't disappoint Sunday night at Port Royal Speedway. In a thrilling battle that lasted over two late-race restarts, Danny Dietrich prevailed over Tyler Courtney to win the $75,000 Kubota High Limit Racing Bob Weikert Memorial. 

Dietrich took the lead from Courtney with 10 laps to go and appeared to be on his way to victory before a caution flag waved with four laps remaining. 

Courtney used the restart to his advantage and had the crowd on its feet as he mounted a charge for the race lead on the final lap. However, as Courtney made his move on Dietrich in the final turn, the caution flag waved again to set up a green-white-checkered finish. 

On the restart, Rico Abreu used a slider to briefly take away second from Courtney. That move was enough to allow Dietrich to pull away, while Courtney and Abreu completed the podium.
