Outlaws points leader David Gravel, 2023 Eldora Million winner Logan Schuchart and two-time WoO winner Brock Zearfoss have all made their way to "The Speed Palace" to chase $75,000 and the coveted bull trophy.
For Gravel, the decision to make the trip to the Weikert came down to his love for Port Royal and the big money on the line.
"It really hurts my heart that we don't go to Port Royal anymore [with the Outlaws]. It's definitely one of the most up-and-coming tracks that have solidified itself as a top three to five race tracks in the country in building big events," Gravel said when asked why he made the decision to enter Sunday's race. "Just how much this Weikert race jumped up to this year and then obviously what the Tuscarora pays. I always loved coming here with the Outlaws at the end of the year in October. With $75,000 to win, we've just been racing normal races, so when you get the opportunity to run for $75,000... you don't really get that opportunity very often. It's a track that we're good at. It's something we had to do a little bit extra driving for, but hopefully it's worth it."
The three World of Outlaws stars join a stacked entry list that already included the likes of Brad Sweet, Rico Abreu, Tyler Courtney, Anthony Macri, Lance Dewease and many others.
Saturday's on-track action is slated to begin at 5:15 p.m. ET with hot laps. Qualifying, heat races, a C-Main and a B-Main will set the stage for the 29-lap main event later in the evening. Limited Late Models will also be on the schedule for Saturday night.
Fans unable to make it out to Port Royal Speedway will be able to watch live beginning at approximately 5 p.m. ET on FloRacing. If you're not already a FloRacing subscriber, click here to sign up today.
