NASCAR Stars Headline High Limit Racing Entry List At Texas Motor Speedway
NASCAR Cup Series drivers Chase Briscoe, Kyle Larson and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. headline Kubota High Limit Racing's race at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday.
Kubota High Limit Racing returns to action Saturday at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track following its longest break of the season that's spanned seven straight idle weeks since Feb. 24's last event at Georgia's Golden Isles Speedway won by Jacob Allen.
Because the $12,000-to-win program coincides with NASCAR's weekend at the 1.5-mile paved quad-oval, NASCAR Cup Series stars Chase Briscoe, Kyle Larson and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. bolster the preliminary entry list that approaches 40 drivers and teams as of Friday evening.
For Briscoe, it marks the first start for his revived Sprint Car team, the No. 5 Chase Briscoe Racing entry, which will compete in roughly 35 events across the country, with himself and 21-year-old Karter Sarff splitting seat time.
Larson, meanwhile, already has a High Limit victory to his 2024 ledger, joining series points leader Tyler Courtney (Feb. 13 winner at Florida's East Bay Raceway Park and Feb. 22 at Golden Isles) and Allen.
A stout list of "High Rollers," drivers committed to running the full High Limit Racing schedule, will also be in attendance. That list include five-time reigning World of Outlaws champion Brad Sweet, who trails Courtney by 18 points in the series title race, as well as Brent Marks (third in points), Spencer Bayston (fourth) and Corey Day (fifth).
Parker Price-Miller, Rico Abreu, Justin Peck, Zeb Wise, James McFadden, Chris Windom, Kasey Kahne, Cory Eliason, Brenham Crouch, and Conner Morrell are the remaining 15 full-time campaigners participating at the 4/10-mile dirt oval.
Other notable entries primed to challenge High Limit's best are Anthony Macri (three wins over his last eight races), fan favorite Tanner Holmes, former Knoxville Raceway champion Brian Brown and former ASCS champion Blake Hahn.
