There’s now a little “Sunshine” in the High Limit Room thanks to Tyler Courtney, who will join High Limit Racing for a championship bid in 2024 aboard the Clauson-Marshall Racing No. 7BC.

Courtney makes it 16 confirmed High Rollers for next year, joining previously announced Rico Abreu (Abreu No. 24), Jacob Allen (Shark Racing No. 1A), Spencer Bayston (CJB Motorsports No. 5), Brenham Crouch (Crouch No. 1), Corey Day (Jason Meyers Racing No. 14), Cory Eliason (Ridge & Sons Racing No. 8), Kasey Kahne (Kahne No. 9), Brent Marks (Murray-Marks No. 19),  Justin Peck (Buch Motorsports No. 13), Parker Price-Miller (PPM No. 9P), Brad Sweet (Kasey Kahne Racing No. 49), Chris Windom (Vermeer Motorsports No. 55), Zeb Wise (Rudeen Racing No. 26), Connor Morrel (Marc Dailey Racing No. 2MD) and Tanner Thorson (Rod Gross Motorsports No. 88).

After dominating the USAC ranks in the late 2010’s with a Sprint Car and Midget championship to go along with 50+ wins across three divisions, Courtney switched to wing racing in 2021 and quickly became one of the nation’s best. In just three years with a wing on top, Courtney has two All Star Circuit of Champions titles, a Kings Royal victory, two World of Outlaws wins, led laps at the Knoxville Nationals, and won 30+ races overall.

Entering 2024, “Sunshine” has won at 14 of 38 tracks listed on the High Limit Schedule, second only to Brad Sweet’s 15. The places Courtney has already conquered include East Bay (Fla.) Raceway Park, Tri-City (Ill.) Speedway, Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway, Outlaw (N.Y.) Speedway, Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway, Grandview (Pa.) Speedway, Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway, Butler (Mich.) Motor Speedway, Lake Ozark (Mo.) Speedway, Lucas Oil (Mo.) Speedway, Eldora (Ohio) Speedway, Tulare (Calif.) Thunderbowl Raceway, Kings (Calif.) Speedway, and Skagit (Wash.) Speedway.

The Clauson-Marshall No. 7BC instantly becomes a contender for a valuable High Stakes Charter, awarded to each of the top-five teams in points this year, which will go into effect in 2026.

Courtney’s High Limit Racing campaign officially begins on Monday & Tuesday, February 12-13 at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL, and concludes on Friday & Saturday, October 11-12 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX. Along with 25+ races paying $20,000 or more to win, teams will also compete for a $1 million championship fund and an additional $100,000 points fund for the Midweek Money Series.
