The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco heads to New Egypt Speedway for the ninth running of the ‘Dirty Jersey' on Tuesday, August 8. The D-shaped venue in Central New Jersey hosts Round No. 3 of the Rent Equip/Party Central South Region $15,000 championship chase.

The South Region – heavily affected by rain this season – goes points racing for the first time since May when Frenchtown, N.J.’s Billy Pauch Jr. picked up the win at Delaware International Speedway in Delmar, Del.

Pauch Jr. currently leads the South Region standings by 29 points over Neshanic Station, N.J.’s Matt Stangle heading into both drivers’ Saturday night home track.

The ‘Dirty Jersey’ was contested as a Short Track Super Series event in June 2015 with New York’s Danny Creeden invading for a victory.

One year later, Pauch Jr. upended his father – Billy Pauch Sr. – for the victory at New Egypt.
