Tim Shaffer And Grove Racing Sprint Car Team Part Ways
Grove Racing and driver Tim Shaffer have parted ways. The team sits fifth in Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions owner points.
The Canton, Ohio based Tezos All Star Circuit Of Champions team of Grove Racing announced this morning that they have parted ways with driver Tim Shaffer. A four-time All Star Champ, Shaffer had won at Atomic Speedway in June and had the team sitting fifth in owner points at the summer break.
"We are saddened to announce the parting of ways with Tim Shaffer," the team wrote." The Steel City Outlaw has been our driver for many many years now and we appreciate all his dedication to the team and all the hard work he put in. The Grove Racing Team wishes him nothing but the best in his future endeavors and we hope to continue to see him from time to time on the track!"
Shaffer is the 2010 Knoxville Nationals Champion and won the 2018 Sprint Car World Championship at Mansfield. He currently sits third in driver points standings with the All Stars.
