Alex Bright On Mend After Hard Crash In Indiana Sprint Week At Lawrenceburg
Alex Bright suffered lung contusions and a broken wrist from a nasty flip Sunday night in USAC Indiana Sprint Week at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
Alex Bright is recovering after he suffered lung contusions and a broken wrist from a brutal accident Sunday night in AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series Indiana Sprint Week at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway.
The Collegeville, Pa., racer lined up third to start the night's feature, and as the field was set to take the green, fourth-starting Jake Swanson appeared to have made contact with Bright's car. That sent Bright airborne and flipping multiple times down the speedway's frontstretch before his mangled car eventually landed on four wheels.
