Justin Sanders To Race Macri Motorsports No. 39M In Upcoming Events
Justin Sanders will race the Macri Motorsports No. 39M the next month, including the High Limit Sprint Car Series and the Knoxville Nationals.
Justin Sanders has been tabbed as the driver of the Macri Motorsports No. 39M Sprint Car through Aug. 17-19’s Jackson Nationals in the wake of Anthony Macri leaving the team prior to last Wednesday’s Eldora Million.
The Aromas, Calif., native will first appear at the wheel of the Pennsylvania-based machine in July 27’s All Star Circuit of Champions event at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo., and not Tuesday’s High Limit Sprint Car Series race at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa., because of his commitments in Kevin Swindell’s No. 39.
Macri Motorsports, which is owned by Anthony's father, Nick, intends to compete in Tuesday’s High Limit Series race at Grandview “with a driver to be announced,” the team wrote in a social media post on Friday.

Sanders’ schedule also includes Aug. 9-12’s Knoxville Nationals and upcoming High Limit Sprint Car Series races at Kokomo (Ind.) Raceway on Aug. 1 and Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., on Aug. 15.
The 30-year-old will also race July 27’s All Star Circuit of Champions event at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo.; July 28’s ASCoC event at I-70 Motorsports Park in Odessa, Mo.; July 29’s ASCoC event at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway; Aug. 3-5’s 360 Nationals at Knoxville; and Aug. 7’s Front Row Challenge at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
WATCH: Anthony Macri talks about new opportunities with Clauson Marshall Racing and Bernie Stuebgen.
Macri, meanwhile, is currently serving as a fill-in driver aboard the Clauson Marshall No. 7BC for the injured Tyler Courtney on the ASCoC tour. He’ll also be competing in High Limit Series events in Bernie Stuebgen’s No. 71 Sprint Car.
Macri is second in the High Limit Series standings, 49 points behind leader Kyle Larson, while Sanders is 18th and 157 points off the pace.
