A week that began with 95 Dirt Late Models in the pit area at Eldora Speedway ended with a familiar face in victory lane Saturday night during the 29th Dirt Late Model Dream. 

Taking the lead from Bobby Pierce with an inside moved through turns three and four on lap 30, Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., led the fjnal 70 laps to win Saturday’s Dream XXIX at Eldora Speedway. Davenport was never threatened, though runner-up Chris Madden to close the gap to 3/10th of a second with less than five laps remaining. Madden settled for second, while Pierce finished third.

Davenport added to his resume at "The Big E" by winning the Dirt Late Model Dream for the second time in his career.
