A strong contingent of Sprint Car drivers will make their way to Eagle Raceway for Tuesday night's High Limit Sprint Car Series event. On Monday night, High Limit Racing officials released the list of expected entries for the $28,023-to-win event. 

Currently, the list of expected entries includes the names of 40 Sprint Car drivers who will be competing in the race. 

Following two straight wins at Wayne County Speedway and Tri-City Speedway, NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Larson leads the High Limit Sprint Car Series point standings entering Tuesday's race. 

Anthony Macri (-37), Rico Abreu (-44) and Brian Brown (-51) trail Larson in the standings. Justin Sanders currently sits fifth in the standings, but he and the Swindell SpeedLab will miss Tuesday's event due to health reason with car owner Kevin Swindell.

Giovanni Scelzi, the winner of the $50,000-to-win season opener at Lakeside Speedway, will return to the series for the first time since his big win in April. 

Former NASCAR Cup Series star Kasey Kahne is also expected to make his third High Limit start of the year.

Why Anticipation Is High For High Limit Sprint Cars At Eagle Raceway

In addition to the $28,023 prize that awaits the winner, big money will be on the line for the night's hard charger. The Tezos Hard Charger will receive $2,500 plus $100 for each car that they pass at Eagle Raceway. 

On-track action begins with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. CT, with qualifying and heat races to follow. A C-Main, B-Main and Dash will be contested to help set the lineup for the 40-lap main event.
