Things move quickly in the sprint car industry, as Cory Eliason already has a new home for the remainder of one of sprint car racing’s biggest seasons ever. Eliason will fill the void left by Buddy Kofoid in the No. 11 Crouch Motorsports car after Kofoid mutually parted ways with the team.

On Tuesday, CMS Racing announced on Twitter that Eliason would be taking over driving duties. The plan is to run the remainder of the 2023 season, which will include the entire High Limit Sprint Car Series schedule. Eliason will debut with the team Wednesday at Lincoln Speedway with the World of Outlaws. He will also race at Williams Grove this weekend.

The High Limit Sprint Car Series is back in action Tuesday May 16th at Wayne County Speedway in Ohio.

Eliason sits 12th in High Limit Sprint Car Series points after two races behind the wheel of the Indy Race Parts No. 71. Eliason qualified for both features at Lakeside Speedway and 34 Raceway, finishing 11th and 21st, respectively. Eliason finished second in the inaugural High Limit Open at Lincoln Park Speedway in 2022.
