Kyle Larson Is Racing A Car He's Never Raced Before At Eldora Speedway
Kyle Larson will race a Dirt Modified for the first time in his career Tuesday night during Castrol FloRacing Night in America at Eldora Speedway.
Kyle Larson will be doing something he's never done before Tuesday night at Eldora Speedway. Larson, the winner of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway, is planning to make his first-ever start behind the wheel of a dirt modified during Castrol FloRacing Night in America.
Larson, a driver widely considered to be one of the most talented and diverse race car drivers in the world, will be pulling double-duty racing in the 50-lap super late model race and 20-lap modified feature.
Larson will be driving a Modified owned by Mike Allgaier and normally driven by NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Justin Allgaier.
While Larson has never raced a dirt modified, he is no stranger to victory lane at Eldora Speedway. The Hendrick Motorsports driver is the defending winner of Castrol FloRacing Night in America at the track and a former Kings Royal winner behind the wheel of a sprint car.
Both races that Larson will be competing in on Tuesday night will be streamed live on FloRacing beginning with a pre-race show at 5:20 p.m. ET. Hot laps begin at 6 p.m. ET with qualifying, heat races and features to follow.
