High Limit Sprint Car Series Releases Entry List For Lakeside Speedway
The High Limit Racing entry list for Shane Stewart's Heartland of America Showdown at Lakeside Speedway includes Sprint Car racing's biggest stars.
Sprint Car stars will be out in force when the High Limit Sprint Car Series opens its inaugural season on Tuesday night at Lakeside Speedway. On Monday afternoon, High Limit Racing officials released an impressive entry list for Shane Stewart's Heartland of America Showdown Presented by Trackhouse Racing.
The entry list for Tuesday night's race currently includes the names of 56 Sprint Car drivers, including many of the sport's biggest stars from the World of Outlaws, Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions, NASCAR Cup Series and beyond.
Prior to releasing the full entry list for Tuesday's event, High Limit Racing officials recently released a list of 26 drivers who will be compete full-time with the series in 2023. With $50,000 on the line at Lakeside Speedway, the race has attracted even more star power beyond the "High Rollers" committed to racing all 11 races this season.
2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson and three-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion Brad Sweet, the co-promoters of the High Limit Sprint Car Series, headline the list of entries for Tuesday's race.

Larson and Sweet will be joined by the likes of two-time defending Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions champion Tyler Courtney, two-time defending USAC Midget champion Buddy Kofoid and 2022 Kings Royal winner Brent Marks.
With the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series allowing contracted teams to compete in four non-World of Outlaws events without restrictions, many of the Outlaws will be making the trip to Kansas City, Kansas. In addition to Sweet, current points leader Carson Macedo and 10-time series champion Donny Schatz are among the full-time World of Outlaws drivers competing on Tuesday night.
NASCAR Cup Series star Alex Bowman is entered for the High Limit Racing opener and plans to compete in all 11 races this season. Kasey Kahne, an 18-time NASCAR Cup Series winner, is also planning to compete at Lakeside Speedway.
