The annual National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) season opener moves to a hot new location for 2023, as the 29th Annual NMRA Spring Break Shootout Presented by Nitto Tire will take over Florida’s Orlando Speed World Dragway over the weekend of March 3-5.

Part of the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals series, the event will be bigger than ever before as the new festival-style format incorporates a plethora of exciting extra features. In addition to the NMRA’s beloved and popular all-Ford drag racing – both index and heads-up – many special inclusions are going down over the weekend for a fun, family-friendly event with free admission for kids ages 12 and under.

Drift superstars and RTR Vehicles pro drivers Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Chelsea DeNofa will both be on the property on Saturday to showcase their drifting with a unique Fun-Haver experience unlike any other. Similarly, the Ford Drift Invitational will be taking place on Friday and Saturday as some of the coolest Fords get sideways on the drift pad, and the Australian-style burnout competition will take it one step further with the ultimate tire smoking ccontest.

Joining in the fun, Shane England will be bringing his famous Big Kahuna monster truck to be on display for fans throughout the weekend. As if that wasn’t enough, the NMRA Spring Break Shootout will also host the Fox Body Reunion event which showcases Ford’s 1979-1993 Fox platform.
