Where Wednesday's Racers Will Start Saturday At Chili Bowl

With Wednesday’s third Chili Bowl preliminary wrapped up, let’s take a quick look at where last night’s A-Main finishers will start in the famed alphabet soup come Saturday inside Tulsa’s SageNet Center:
TO THE A-MAIN (1-2) – Rico Abreu, Mitchel Moles
TO THE B-MAINS (3-8) – Brent Crews, Blake Hahn, Kevin Thomas Jr, Ricky Thornton Jr, Taylor Reimer, Thomas Meseraull
TO THE C-MAINS (9-14) – Jake Swanson, Trey Gropp, Matt Westfall, Daniel Whitley, Kody Swanson, Kaden Honeycutt
TO THE D-MAINS (15-20) – Cade Lewis, Roger Crockett, Hayden Reinbold, Landon Brooks, Chelby Hinton, Ronnie Gardner
TO THE E-MAINS (21-24) – Jake Andreotti, Corey Day, Ashton Torgerson, Travis Berryhill
Continuing his Wednesday domination, Rico Abreu brought the Tulsa Expo crowd to their feet with a sensation last-lap pass. It’s his sixth-straight win on Wednesday and his eighth overall, tying him with Christopher Bell and Sammy Swindell for most preliminary wins in event history.
Joining Abreu’s Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports #24 in Saturday’s big dance is Mitchel Moles of Raisin City, CA. The CB Industries No. 89 led 29 of 30 laps before having his first-career preliminary win ripped from his hands for the second year in a row. However, he’s still locked-in for Saturday’s 55-lapper for the first time in his career.
A dejected yet impressive Brent Crews rounded out the podium to send his Paul May No. 71M into Saturday’s B-Main, where he’ll continue chasing the feat of being the youngest Championship A-Main starter in history.

Blake Hahn collected his fourth-straight preliminary top-four on Wednesday and rounding out the top-five with him was Kevin Thomas Jr. in the Timms/Alexander No. 5T. They’ll be joined in Saturday’s B-Main by the talents of remarkable Late Model regular Ricky Thornton Jr. (22nd to 6th), Taylor Reimer in a Keith Kunz No. 25K (third woman in Saturday’s B’s), and Thomas Meseraull in an RMS Racing ride.
On Saturday, it’ll be the top-five finishers transferring from each E-Main, D-Main, and C-Main, then the top-seven transfer from each B-Main into the 55-lap main event.
