Pro Mod stand out and fan favorite, Lyle Barnett suffers a catastrophic fire during testing for an NHRA Pro Mod event. He shared his in-car camera footage with FloRacing and his escape to safety is wild!
This is Lyle's second major fire in his career, with the first injuring him gravely. After a coma, many surgeries, skin grafts, and more, Lyle returned to the class he loves so much and has gone without major incident until now. The safety equipment did it's job and Lyle's quick actions allowed him to escape to safety much quicker this time.
