The Wild West Shootout is a six-race mini-series that kicks off the Super Late Model race season along with the Modifieds and X-Mods. This year's event has moved to the immaculate 3/8-mile clay oval at Vado Speedway Park located in Vado, New Mexico.

Over $250,000 in prize money will be on the line during the 16th Annual Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts. A $300,000 Penske Racing Shocks Paydirt Jackpot will be on the line if a driver can win all six Super Late Model features. There will also be a $100,000 bonus for five wins and a $25,000 for four wins. 

Each night finds the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars, Mesilla Valley Transportation/ Border Tire Modifieds, and RHRSwag.com X-Mods presented by Barnett Harley Davidson competing in action.
