With a second-place finish at Bunbury Speedway in Wester Australia, Parker Price-Miller joined the ranks of Donny Schatz, Jason Johnson, and Jack Hewitt.
Parker Price-Miller secured the points championship at the USA vs. Western Australian Speedweeks with a second-place finish in the fourth round at Bunbury Speedway in Bunbury, Australia, on Saturday — adding his name in the record books with fellow American World of Outlaws drivers Jason Johnson, Donny Schatz, Jac Haudenschild, and Jack Hewitt.
Jamie Maiolo won the race with an advantage of nearly a second over Price-Miller and five seconds over the rest of the field.
Price-Miller didn’t have quite enough to race around pole-sitter Jamie Maiolo, who led flag-to-flag after winning his heat and gaining the top spot through the pole shuffle. Starting third, Price-Miller had to get past Jason Kendrick on lap 20 to claim second.
Kendrick lost another position before the end of the 30-lap Feature when Ryan Smith, the second American in the race, passed him with five laps remaining
Those four drivers were the only ones remaining on the lead lap as Maiolo set a blistering pace and passed the majority of the nine-car starting field.
Jamie Oldfield struggled early, falling quickly from fifth place to seventh before rebounding to fifth with less than five to go.
